Guitar

Again, my apologies as this is poorly edited. Anders figured out how to make music.

QTips

Anders has a special fondness for all things ordinary and no interest in those things that are marketed directly to kids as extraordinary. I apologize for my inability to edit videos. This one is a little over 2 minutes but you can see Anders is a full time walker now. (Only just now when I was watching this did I realize that QTips are likely a bit of a choking hazard. Ooops, no harm, no foul.. right?)

Future Hockey Star

Will sure hopes so.

Hiking in the Gorge

Check out their faces. Like father, like son!

First Haircut

Auntie Jaime gave Anders his first haircut. He did well with a lot of distractions. Such a little boy now!

New wagon

Jairet and Anders strapped in for a wild ride in the new wagon. Phones? Check. Seatbelt? Check. Let's go!

Big Boy

Remember the little silver truck? Anders has reached another major milestone, he got to go for a ride. I am certain all of the great-grandchildren have put their little bottoms in the seat and talked on the play cell phone.

Poor Lilly

She could write a memoir that would bring most to tears with her experience over the last year. Now Anders is old enough to torment her, steal her toys and pull on her tail.

Helmet fits

In an effort to get Anders use to his helmet we have been doing some test runs. Turns out it is not a bad idea for a kid who sees a six foot step stool as a fine place to play and who has hit his head in the same spot so many times that we think it is just going to stay a bruise for good measure.

Down by the river

A casual stroll along the Columbia River.

Dishwasher

Common household appliances are the best toys. There are buttons, doors, moving parts, and you can put things in and take things out.

A Rock

The river rock landscaping serves dual purposes, its cleaner than bark dust and Anders thinks of it as his own private adventure park. He loves to crawl, explore and every now and then, eat one.

Hot Summer Nights

Diaper clad Anders is zonked out after a full day of sun. This photo was taken on May 30th and little did he know just two weeks later he would be sleeping through the night consistently!
